I wonder if Mall of America will make a statement regarding this. I'd sure like to hear one.

I find the whole culture of "I'm offended therefore I run to mall security and complain" unbelievable. Excluding outright hate speech, to me it seems incredibly narcissistic of people to run around complaining to authorities that their delicate sensibilities have been offended.

It's a shame that the people who complained couldn't have instead used this man's shirt as an opportunity to dialogue with him in an open-minded, curious way, and try to find out more about him and his views. Simply trying to remove or eliminate views that oppose our own is not a solution.

Thanks for this post; it's a wonderful stimulus for discussion and critical thinking.

"Clothing that deliberately obscures the face, such as hooded tops or masks " --- so no mask mandate? or is it that those mask mandates over ride the rules?

I hate to say it, but I don't think we've seen anything yet. This kind of thing is just getting started.

If that were a tattoo on his arm or face, would they make him leave? Cover it up? What would be the scenario in the case of a swastika, biker, child porn symbol, etc.? There is so much that offends and people can't wait to make a fuss. Rolling my eyes...

The problem is the tee shirt can be viewed as a billboard. No different than holding up a sign. In private property, you can be banned from expressing even on your shirt. If this was a public walkway, as in a downtown or City Street, the First Amendment comes into play. Unfortunately, not in a shopping mall. Disneyland does the same thing, and it's an excellent way to get a free new tee shirt; Disney hands you a new one.

Exactly shame on this mall cop how absolutely petty. A little power goes a long ways. Fire him.

If a Jesus Saves T shirt is offensive in a mall in Minnesota America then what has happened to free speech and the right to religious freedoms?

People are getting awfully touchy. Good points this is a person that is Nazi just waiting to assert

His misinterpretation of rules for what end? A little power.

Freedom of religion, the freedom to worship and express one's faith WHATEVER that may be, is among the first freedoms that are the inalienable rights of all men.

Shame on Mall of America and shame on that security guard for their bigotry, hatred, and intolerance.
